Plain-language terms for buying and using The Home Front Manual. By buying, you agree to them.

1. Who sells the manual

The Home Front Manual is published by The Home Front (“we”, “us”). Your order is processed by Fungies, our checkout provider and Merchant of Record, which handles the payment, sales tax and your receipt. Fungies’ own terms also apply to the payment itself. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What you are buying

A digital product, delivered as one downloadable PDF file: The Home Front Manual (US Edition or Canadian Edition), the Family Workbook and the extras listed on the sales page. Your download link appears right after payment and is also sent to your email. Nothing is shipped by mail.

3. Price and payment

The price is the one shown at checkout, in US dollars. You pay once; there is no subscription. Any sales tax that applies where you live is worked out at checkout.

4. Refunds

You have 30 days to ask for a full refund, for any reason. See the Refund Policy.

5. How you may use it

One purchase covers your household. Your spouse or partner and the people you live with may use it, and you may print copies for your home.
Please don’t resell it, post it online, upload it to file-sharing sites, or give copies to people outside your household. The manual is protected by copyright.

6. Updates

Revisions to the 2026–2027 edition, including the January 2027 refresh, are free for buyers and are sent to the email address you paid with.

7. Educational information, not advice

The manual explains official rules, programs and deadlines in plain language. It is educational content, not financial, legal, tax, insurance or medical advice, and it does not know your personal situation. Rules, prices and deadlines can change after publication; figures were checked in October 2026. Dollar figures are worked examples for one example couple in each country, and your results will depend on your own household. Before acting on a decision that matters to you, check with the official agency named in the manual or a qualified professional. In Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency decides whether to accept a late pension-income split.

8. No promise of a specific saving

We can’t promise any particular amount, because savings depend on each household. What we do promise is the 30-day refund.

9. Limits of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make using the manual, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown on this page on the day you bought.
